How to reduce your company’s impact on the environment

This can be anything from choosing cars that create fewer carbon emissions, recycling rubbish, opting to walk rather than drive to places, using recycles materials and so on. Company’s are also following suit and adopting more environmentally friendly ways of doing things so that they are seen to be actively contributing to the environment in a positive way. Indeed some people will choose company’s that do all they can to stay Green over others that do not.
So how can you reduce your company’s impact on the environment and still make sure that you are delivering what your customers expect? There are many different things that a company can do to reduce their impact on the environment such as:-
1. Join a recycling scheme for old ink cartridges if you use them – this can involve recycling old cartridges or having your existing ones refilled as this reduces the impact that your company has on the environment.
2. Recycle all paper that is used in the company – this helps to cut down on paper wastage and helps to create more recycled paper which helps the environment even more.
3. Use a software solution that allows you to cut down on the amount of paper that you use. 6. Try to only conduct business with other companies that do all they can to reduce their impact on the environment. Doing this will not only encourage other companies to follow suit but you will also be ensuring that none of your business activities damage the environment and this is something that a great deal of customers look for when choosing who to become customers of
7. See if there any Green business initiatives in the area that your company is in, this will help you to find out other ways in which you can help to reduce the impact that your company has on the environment.
